Kids Ministry Opportunities!
We offer Kids Ministry for ages 1–5th grade, these opportunities will include fun worship time, bible lessons, large and small group engagement with the lessons, and age-appropriate activities that will go hand in hand with everything they're learning that day!

What’s happening:
Summer of We
We’ve been focusing on what it means to be a WE community here at Heartlands over the past few months! This summer, we are going to have some fantastic opportunities to do this in our Summer of WE!
Summer of We Events
First, we’re going to be partnering with Atlas to provide meals for the community! Our first opportunity to do this is Memorial Day, and we’ll have two other opportunities as well later this summer!
Second, we’re going to be working together to fill some free little pantries in town. We’ll work together to collect all of the items, spend time sharing a meal together, and then head out to fill the pantries. We’re planning to do this on three different Sundays this summer!
And third, back again this summer, we’re going to be a light in our community through “Popsicles in the Park” on Wednesday evenings in July!
“Gather and Scatter” - Little Pantry Filling!
NEXT! We are collecting items to fill our two free little pantries on June 8th.
For the next few weeks, as you go to the store, grab a couple extra items to help us fill the pantries! Canned food, boxed food, and small hygiene items! (Check out the app or weekly email for a list of ideas)
You can drop off these items in the tubs in the welcome center. Then plan to join us for lunch at the Coppinger’s on June 8th! We’ll GATHER to eat lunch together and then SCATTER to fill the pantries!

HYM Pool Party
Our HYM Pool Party is happening this Wednesday, May 28th, from 5 to 7:30 PM at the Adcock’s home.
We’ll have burgers and hot dogs on the grill, plenty of watermelon to share, and of course, lots of fun in the pool.
We’re asking boys to bring something sweet, and girls to bring something salty to share with the group.
It’s going to be a great time to hang out, relax, and kick off the summer together.

Current Message Series:
The journey to Jerusalem was a long, uphill ascent. Our discipleship reflects this very idea. It is not a transactional moment, but a life-long pilgrimage through the ups and downs of life. It is not a matter of always staying on the “hilltop,” but rather, a call to faithfulness and trust in God through the hills and valleys of our journey.

Finding the counseling that you need can be tricky. We’ve put together a referral list of male, female, marital, child/adolescent counselors, as well as psychiatrists in the area. We hope this list helps you find what you need!
